Job Description:

Exceedra requires an experience Project Manager own the management, planning and co-ordination of professional services team. The Project Manager will report to the EMEA Commercial Director. Acting as one of the key interfaces between external clients, the technical delivery team and the client engagement team and sales team. The Project Manager will manage planning, identify and track key project milestones, manage billing, documentation and bring rigour to internal processes to ensure professional services deliver on key milestones.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Creation and ownership of overall professional services work plan with key stakeholders and management of milestones and client checkpoints
  • Creation and ownership of on-going project documentation, such as risks and issue logs
  • Management of professional services order book and monthly billing process
  • Liaison with external client project management functions, Exceedra technical team members, and Exceedra engagement team members to understand and communicate project progress
  • Identification of and escalation internally to appropriate stakeholders should significant risks to project delivery arise
  • Organisation and co-ordination of project management tasks such as priority management, dependency management and decision-making from stakeholders to ensure achievement of project milestones
  • Adopt a practice of continuous improvement through monitoring existing practices and proposing, documenting and implementing changes as required to improve efficiency
  • Support Management providing Information and guidance to assist the decision making process

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years in a project management function in a technology setting, with demonstrable experience of understanding technical systems and software related issues as well as project and contractual constraints.
  • Familiarity with formal project management processes, such as Prince 2.
  • Exposure to acting as a primary point of contact for high complexity software development projects to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exposure to client stakeholders of various seniority across the Consumer Goods, Manufacturing and Retail Sectors
  • Experience with Jira is preferred.
  • Candidates that have familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2013, and Agile/Scrum processes will be preferred.

Locations: London (Vauxhall). You may be required to travel to client/prospect sites both in the UK and abroad.

Hours: Standard office hours are 9.00am - 5.30 pm plus extra hours when needed.
